About Liv's Loaves

Hi, I'm Olivia, the baker behind Liv's Loaves. My love for baking started long before I ever thought about turning it into a business. As a collegiate athlete for five years, I understood firsthand how important nutritious, high-quality food is for fueling the body. That passion led me to earn my undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and later a Master's in Nutrition.

Throughout my studies, I saw the constant battle between healthy eating and great taste, and I believe you shouldn't have to choose between the two. That's why I fell in love with sourdough baking. Made with just a few simple, natural ingredients and a slow fermentation process, sourdough is not only delicious but also easier to digest and packed with nutrition.

Every loaf, bagel, and baked good I make is crafted from scratch in my home kitchen, using traditional techniques and high-quality ingredients.

Wisconsin Cottage Food Law

All of my sourdough products are made under Wisconsin’s Cottage Food Law, which allows small-scale bakers like me to sell homemade, non-hazardous foods directly to consumers. While my kitchen is not subject to state inspections, I take every precaution to ensure my products are prepared with the highest standards of cleanliness and care.
